Our Process: Each car is individually picked by the owner.  Some cars make the pick and many do not.  We have developed a network of buying contacts nationwide via other dealers, government agencies, auctions, and private individuals from years of buying experience.  This is not something that happened overnight.  We do not rely on blind buyers for inventory.  We do not specialize in run down, worn out taxi units or crashed salvage title vehicles.  We do not specialize in rebuildable wrecked police cars.  Most of our customers are Law Enforcement agencies and individual buyers.  The individual buyers are sometime associated with law enforcement and sometimes not.  We do sell to the public on most of our inventory. 

Long Distance Purchases: We are prepared to sell vehicles via the internet and phone.  We do so almost daily!  If you see a vehicle you are interested in we can email you pictures, discuss the vehicle via phone or email, and offer you our guarantee.  We can assist you in arranging transportation (shipping) to your location for a nearly effortless transaction.  Or, you can decline having your vehicle shipped and take a trip to Kansas City to drive it home!  Please ask about "Our Guarantee"!

THE OWNER:

  

Shane O'Roark is the founder, owner and manager of this dealership.  He began his career in the automotive industry when he was 16 years old, cleaning and selling vehicles.  In 1995 he opened his own dealership.  In 1996 he began selling only police vehicles.  In 1999 he began marketing these vehicles nationwide, which lead to the volume that is purchased and sold here today.

The owner has served in Missouri and Kansas law enforcement since 1985 where he began as an explorer scout, then dispatcher, then police officer in 1993.  Shane is currently a Kansas City Missouri Police Officer (no affiliation with this private company and the City of Kansas City Missouri).  In 1999 Shane founded Metropolitan Patrol Security Company, which was later sold and is now one of the larger private security companies in Kansas City.

TITLES & PAYMENTS SPECIALIST:

Title Preparation and Payments are managed by Margaret "Margo" Engle. Margo's professional experience ensures accurate and timely title preparation.  She is our accounts receivable/accounts payable specialist and handles all incoming and outgoing payments. Margo has been in the automotive clerical arena for several years and has held several secretarial and accounting positions.  She is at your disposal for questions and updates on payments and title status.

VEHICLE PURCHASING & ACQUISITIONS:  

Vehicle purchasing/inventory acquisitions is completed by Greg Glass.  Greg utilizes a network of outlets to obtain vehicles nationwide to supply our inventory here.  This is handled on a daily basis.  This interesting network uses various communication outlets such as the internet, phone and in person contacts. Greg has been in the automotive industry since 1995.  He holds a Masters Degree in Finance.  Greg works behind the scenes to make this dealership what it is today.

VEHICLE PREPERATION SPECIALIST: 

Vehicle check in, preperation and organization is handled by Robbie Cahill.  He works closely with the General Manager and our vendors to ensure that the vehicle inventory is correctly prepared for sale.  He also has many other duties that keep everything in motion to present a quality product and atmosphere at our dealership.  Robbie has been in the automotive prep field for several years.
